Our Team
Sean Locke
Managing Partner and Founder
Sean founded TLG in 2003. He possesses more than two decades of search and advisory experience for front office teams in alternative investments, asset management, and investment banking. His network and approach ensure our clients have access to superior market intelligence and leading talent.
Sean manages the business, guides search strategy and execution across practice areas, and mentors our Search Consultants.
Sean received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Ithaca College. He is also on the advisory board for Special Operators Transition Foundation, an organization committed to helping Special Operations Forces veterans transition into private sector careers. Tom Hudson
Partner, Alternatives
Tom joined TLG in 2014 and was promoted to Partner in 2019. He has 8 years of search experience for investment and markets organizations, with a specialty in quantitative strategies. He leads the company’s hedge fund business, including discretionary and quantitative investment mandates.
Tom received a Bachelor of Science in Development Sociology from Cornell University. He enjoys life with his wife and family, working on his squash game, and loves both science fiction and real-world, emerging technology. Click below to contact Tom.
Niall McGeever
Team Lead, Alternatives
Niall has 6 years of investment industry search experience. He joined TLG in 2020 and executes searches for alternative investment clients, with a specialty in private markets investment mandates. Prior to TLG, he worked as a Research Analyst at the Denali Group.
Niall received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Siena College. He enjoys living in NYC, traveling, golfing, and watching Siena basketball.
Cannon Kelly
Search Consultant
Cannon joined TLG in 2022 and executes searches for investment banking clients, with specialties in advisory, industry coverage, and debt markets. Prior to TLG, he consulted for hedge fund companies as a Client Associate at Third Bridge Group.
Cannon received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Supply and Value Chain Management from Texas Christian University. He enjoys living in NYC, playing guitar, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
Cristina Figler
Business Manager
Cristina joined TLG in 2021. She is the team’s administrative engine and drives critical research projects for the company. Together, she has 10 years of recruitment and corporate HR experience.
Cristina received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication and Sociology from SUNY Brockport. She lives in Bozeman, MT with her husband and their golden retrievers, Nova & Naia. She enjoys spending time with her family and getting out in nature.
Mica Chenault
Research Consultant
Mica has seven years of professional experience, including two years in the Executive Search industry. She joined TLG in 2022 and is responsible for executing the company’s research agenda, including recruitment and business development initiatives. Prior to joining TLG, she worked in business development research for Robert Half’s Executive Search group.
Mica received a BA in French Language & Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. If you’re in Milwaukee, you can catch her teaching and practicing yoga, exploring nature, relaxing on the beach of Lake Michigan, and attending live performances.
