E-Commerce Division of global investment banking firm is looking for an experienced salesperson for FIXED INCOME SALES.
Main duties: Drive the build-out of the electronic fixed income business in the US through execution of a focused client acquisition campaign, and by effective relationship management of existing electronic fixed income clients. Operate as an integrated extension of the associated fixed income Sales desks, leveraging that desk and its relationships to maximize penetration of the electronic offering in the US across client types. Develop close working relationships by 'working the floor' in all areas of the US Sales and Trading teams. Specifically in the Rates, Credit, MBS, Money Markets and Municipal Bond space, work with all of the associated members of these teams to develop and identify new client opportunities. Work in an integrated fashion with the other members of the firm's Sales team in an effort to identify inward/outward cross sell opportunities -- i.e., those focused on FX, Futures and Equities to ensure optimal electronic penetration across all associated product types. Also, work closely with firm's sales teams in other regions to ensure global penetration on accounts with presence across regions. Aid in the process of defining and executing the optimal product strategy for fixed income electronic trading; leverage proprietary channels, FIX Protocol, and third-party vendor platforms. Collaborate with head of firm's marketing to help execute an effective branding and marketing agenda for firm's Fixed Income among their client base |
